Paige Williams, Microsoft Director in AI and Research Global, is chief of staff for the Corporate Vice President of Global Engineering T. K. “Ranga” Rengarajan.

AIR Global has purview over global engineering culture change, learning and development initiatives, experimentation models of innovation (including the world’s largest hackathon!), and Microsoft’s global development centers with offices in more than 30 countries around the world.

In this role Paige leads global engineering strategies focused on regional development and innovation, including creating a new company hackathon challenge, a Hack for Africa. Paige also partners with global engineering leaders on diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Paige has been at Microsoft working on the international side of the business for 25 years, having held roles supporting the Africa, India and Middle East region, managing the globalization and localization of the first Microsoft.com corporate website, and most recently spending a decade building a new program and corporate capability called Global Readiness; responsible for managing the company’s strategy, policies and standards for geopolitical risk, language enablement and internationalization.

Paige has contributed to publications, certification courses and at conferences worldwide on topics that live at the intersection of culture, digital marketing and technology.

Paige has a degree in English from Washington State University, and is a 2016 graduate of the University of Washington Foster School of Business, Executive Development.
